Lessons from the NET 🎾

Learning to be CLASSY in tough times is a practice that I'm working on. I one of my matches last year - the opponents wanted a spectator - in a park - that was over 20 feet away - to be removed! I could not believe my ears. He wasn't making ANY noise! And it was a public park.

I managed to stay calm and state that I wasn't going to do that. It was a park and he wasn't being disruptive at all.

They walked out and tried to get him to move - he declined.

They came back on the court and we continued our match. I could have made the situation FAR WORSE by getting angry or defensive - but I was able to stay centered and peaceful!

Later that match - they asked to go to the bathroom when we were serving up 5-3 in the third set! We did end up winning - which we probably would not have if we had freaked out!!!
