Lessons from the NET 🎾

When playing tennis (and in life) if I notice myself being critical of my partner - or feeling it necessary to "teach" them something - I get very present and look at what's going on FOR ME that I feel the need to push or shape them. The more I have looked at this - the more that I see my need for control to only come from fear, concern or attachment to winning.

As I have made this realization - now I choose to release these thoughts as they surface and instead respond knowing that all is well for myself and my partner.

My new practice is to L❤️VE them unconditionally wherever they currently are in their game - and allow them space to learn their own lessons in their own time.

Just as only people who are interested read these posts - and so people who want to have more FUN on the court will buy my book "I ❤️ MY DOUBLES PARTNER!!!"
